The Nigerian military says it has fought off an assault by Boko Haram warriors in Kangarwa, Borno state.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig.- Gen. Sani Usman, uncovered that the operation was done with the help of the Nigerian Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance planes.
He said the assault, which was done from the shores of the Lake Chad on Friday killed ten radicals and injured a few others.
In any case, the armed force lost three warriors, while 27 others managed wounds.
