Man Who Crashed Into Church Bus, Killing 13 People was Reportedly on His Phone, Saying 'I'm Sorry. I Was Texting

A Texas driver who professedly collided with a congregation transport executing 13 senior residents was messaging, as indicated by a witness. 

Jody Kuchler, 55, told the Associated Press he was driving behind the white pickup truck that was swerving unpredictably on Wednesday before the crash happened. 

Kuchler set 911 calls to police before the episode where you can hear him telling experts, "some individual needs to get this person off the street before he hits some individual." 

He likewise told police that Young was driving around 80 mph. 

Police declined to state whether the reason for the crash included messaging, however authorities have said the truck driver seemed to have crossed the middle line.
