A Sokoto Judges' Court on Tuesday requested one Gazalli Shehu, a vendor, to be remanded in jail care for professedly taking things worth N1.2 million from a solidified sustenance store.
The things incorporate condensers, evaporator, compressor and alternator with a joined estimation of N1, 250,000.
The denounced, matured 21, who dwells at No. 10 Kilgori street, Hajiya Halima region in Sokoto, was accused of criminal intrigue, break of trust and robbery.
The Police prosecutor, Insp. Abubakar Tambuwal, told the court that the blamed was utilized as a vendor at Ajikeola Solidified Sustenance Nig. Ltd by the complainant, Folorunsho Sikiru, of a similar address.
Tambuwal told the court that the complainant revealed the occurrence to the Nigeria Security and Common Guard Corps, Sokoto South Division, when he found that the things were absent.
The prosecutor said the offenses negated Areas 312 and 287 of the Correctional Code Law.
At the point when his supplication was taken, Shehu argued not liable to the charges.
The Main Justice, Abubakar Adamu, requested that the blamed be remanded in jail guardianship, for facilitate examination.
