How I was almost killed on my birthday –artist Angela Okorie

Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has described how she almost kicked the bucket on her birthday. 

In a talk with the Punch, the performing artist said however for the intercession of God, it would have been her last birthday. 

She said armed robbers greeted her out and about after her philanthropy occasion.

As indicated by her, "I am appreciative to God forever. I am a philanthropic and I am constantly cheerful at whatever point I offer back to the general public. 

"That was the reason I praised my birthday with the underprivileged. 

"My sibling was driving and since the street was unpleasant, he needed to back off on account of a pothole. Out of the blue, he just instructed me to twist my head in the auto since I was not concentrating. 

"When I would acknowledge what was going on, some outfitted burglars had deceived us and they landed from their autos with firearms .

"They moved toward our auto and positioned their weapons, prepared to shoot. They practically shot us however before we knew it, a few officers of the Nigerian Traditions Administration appeared from no place. 

"They interceded and promptly, my sibling grabbed the chance to zoom off. That was the way we were spared.

"I trust it was God that sent those Traditions folks to us since they were not out and about and they turned out from no place. 

"When I saw the looters, I was frightened yet I had confidence in God. I ponder what might have happened if God was not on my side."
