Previous Middlesbrough administrator Aitor Karanka has rejected the opportunity to oversee Alaves, reports Marca.
Alaves, who lie at the foot of the La Liga table after four diversions, went separate ways with mentor Luis Zubeldia throughout the end of the week.
As indicated by Marca, Alaves attempted to select Karanka, yet the previous Boro manager turned it down because of individual reasons. The Spaniard's dad passed away a week ago.
It's not the first run through Karanka has rejected Alaves – he turned down the opportunity to oversee them prior this late spring after he was sounded out after Mauricio Pellegrino's choice to join Southampton.
