The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC)specialists says it will keep on downing apparatus until the point that the Central Government delegates a substantive Chief General.
Mr Ejor Michael, the National Public Relations Officer (PRO), Restorative and Wellbeing Union of Nigeria, NAFDAC part made this known on Saturday in Abuja in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The union on Sept. 22 set out on an inconclusive strike to interest for another DG or the arrangement of the most senior chief to run the issues of the organization.
Michael said that the Acting DG, Mrs Yetunde Oni had been on acting limit since February 2016 and had represented more than one year.
"She clocks 60 years on Thursday and by righteousness of open administration run she needs to go, yet she wouldn't like to go.
"We hence, request that the Central Government give us a substantive DG or the most senior executive in NAFDAC assume control same way Oni assumed control as the most senior in 2016," he said.
The union asserted that the acting executive had given over to a chief who is not the most senior.
Mr Idu Isua, Vice Chairman of the union said that the following senior chief should assume responsibility after Oni had accomplished the obligatory age of 60 years.
He said that the following in line to the Acting DG ought to naturally assume responsibility before the arrangement of a substantive DG by the Government.
In a quick response, Mr Jimoh Abubakar, Director of Public Relations and Special Duties, NAFDAC said that the arrangement of the DG was a selective protected of the President.
He said that the contention encompassing the arrangement of an acting DG was unnecessary, including that the Central Government knew about the circumstance and would make suitable stride at the opportune time.
"Government in its intelligence will take proper choice, we ought not be in a rush, government knows about data we are not aware of."
He said that the issues with most Nigerian were that they generally need to decipher the administration.
NAN reports that there had been quarrels on the running of NAFDAC between the previous acting DG, Oni and the most senior director.
NAN reviewed that Oni gave over to an executive that is junior to the following in line, yet the union said the inconsistency must be amended to abstain from debasing people in general administration run the show.
