The 82 Chibok young ladies discharged by the Boko Haram faction on Saturday have arrived the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, revealed this on his Twitter handle, @FemAdesina
The presidential representative said the young ladies were gotten at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, for the benefit of President Muhammadu Buhari.
"82 Chibok young ladies now in Abuja. Gotten for the benefit of the President at the air terminal by Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari. Well done Nigeria," Adesina composed.
The young ladies' entry in Abuja is in front of their formal introduction to the President later in the day.
The Presidency had on Saturday said security offices reclaimed the 82 liberated Chibok young ladies in return for some Boko Haram suspects held by the specialists.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, unveiled this in an announcement made accessible to writers on Saturday night.
Shehu said President Muhammadu Buhari was booked to formally get the liberated young ladies in Abuja on Sunday.
The announcement read, "The President is satisfied to report that arrangements to discharge a greater amount of the Chibok Girls have conceived natural product with the arrival of 82 more young ladies today.
"Following quite a while of patient transactions, our security organizations have reclaimed these kidnapped young ladies in return for some Boko Haram suspects held by the experts.
"The young ladies are expected tomorrow (Sunday) in Abuja to be gotten by the President.
"The President offered his profound thanks to security organizations, the military, the legislature of Switzerland, the Red Cross, nearby and worldwide NGOs for the achievement of this operation.
