Akeredolu allocates portfolios to new commissioners

Scarcely 24 hours in the wake of Governor Senator, Mr. Akeredolu (SAN), has doled out portfolios to the recently selected state commissioners and special advisers.

The governor on Wednesday swore in the 18 new commisioner, each of whom was picked from the 18 nearby government territories of the state, however he didn't reported their portfolios.

In an announcement marked by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde on Thursday, the governor recorded the chiefs and their portfolios as takes after; 


Taofiq Abdulsalam (Ministry of Works and Infrastructure), Mr. Rasheed Badmus (Miniatry of Physical Planning and Urban), Prince Solagbade Amodeni (Service of Physical Arranging and Urban Improvement), Otunba Adegboyega Adefarati (Ministry of Agriculture), Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye (Ministry of Youth & Sport Development) and Mrs. Omowumi Olatunji-Edet (Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development)

As per the announcement, others are: Mr. Donald Ojogo (Grounds and Lodging), Mr. Yemi Olowolabi (Service of Data and Introduction), Dr. Wahab Adegbenro (Ministry of Health), Mr. Funso Esan (Ministry of Finance), Mr. Grain Akinterinwa (Service of Back), and Minister Emmanuel Igbasan (Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget)

The rest of the commissioners and the portfolio included : Alhaji Olurimisi Ismala (Ministry of Culture and Tourism), Mr. Femi Agagu (Service of Education, Science and Technology), Prof. Bayonle Ademodi (Service of Territorial Incorporation and Uncommon Obligations), Mrs. Lola Fagbemi (Service of Nearby Government and Chieftaincy Undertakings), Otunba Timilehin Adelegbe (Ministry of Commerce and Industries) and Kola Olawoye ( Ministry of Justice).


The governor had before demanded that the new chiefs were the best hands he could work with.
