In the interim, Kanu, who touched base in Owerri at around 4:30pm, was gotten by IPOB supporters, who had assembled at the Clinic Intersection in the state capital, in this manner causing overwhelming movement.

Tending to the mammoth group, the IPOB pioneer stated, "I will kick the bucket introducing Biafra. It is Biafra or nothing. I am in Owerri to proceed with the message of Biafra. No one can stop us. We don't need rebuilding; it is either Biafra or nothing.

"We have said no to those putting on a show to be speaking to us. There is no expectation in Nigeria, there can never be equity in Nigeria. Biafra has at long last come to remain. Try not to be swindled, I disclosed to Ohaneze that rebuilding would come up short; has it not bombed today?"
