The Medical and Health Workers Union chapter of National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has started inconclusive strike.
The Union said they are setting out on the modern activity to push for enhanced welfare bundle and for the administration of the office to execute an understanding came to on welfare bundle in 2013.
Tending to individuals on Friday, VP of the Union, Idu Isua, revealed that both the administration and the union consented to an arrangement to survey its welfare bundle in 2013 yet the terms of understanding are yet to be followed.
Isua stated, "we settled that assets be drawn from our Inside Produced Income to fund the upward audited bundle of staff yet to our most noteworthy shock, nothing was done from that point forward.
"When we went ahead board as union in 2013, we investigated the stipends of staff and found it was low contrasted and different offices that we appreciate same compensation scale with."
Isua said the union had griped to the Service of Wellbeing and NAFDAC administration, "however up till today, nothing has been finished."
"The strike was not a new one since we made same move two years prior and a year ago and in view of understanding achieved, the strike was suspended.
"In any case, nothing was done on our compensation survey up till now," Isua included.
